In San Francisco, gentrification has resulted in people being evicted from their homes. There is a lack of infrastructure to support those who are displaced, leading to an increased homeless population that has no choice but to live in tents on the street. These people who are already the most vulnerable in society are being targeted by police, government legislation, and the weatlhy. San Francisco's rank as 2nd in homelessness nationwide demonstrates that not enough is being done to support victims of gentrification and this must change.
